Corporation Tax
The Government had previously announced the rate of corporation tax to be reduced to 17% from April 2020. However, at the CBI conference on Monday 19th November, the current Prime Minister announced that this planned reduction will not go ahead and is being postponed. It is expected the cancellation will retain around £6billion in corporation tax for other priorities.
