Coronavirus - VAT update
Businesses do not need to make a VAT payment between 20th March 2020 and 30th June 2020. This is automatic and you do not have to make an application, but if you pay by direct debit this must be cancelled.
You will still need to submit your return by the normal deadlines.
VAT refunds and reclaims will be paid as normal. You will be given additional time to pay any liabilities that have accumulated in the deferral period - currently by March 2021.
