PERSONAL TAX ASSISTANT
Start Date: Immediately
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Hours: Full time, 9:00am-17:00pm Monday – Friday although part time applications will be considered

We are seeking a Tax Assistant to join our firm and embark on an interesting and rewarding career in taxation.
The ideal candidate will have self-assessment tax preparation experience and be ideally ATT qualified, although those qualified by experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be preparing self-assessment tax returns, including capital gains tax, liaising with HMRC, and assisting the Tax Manager as and when required.
Current knowledge of tax laws and regulations is required, along with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly and work effectively as part of a small, busy team.

QUALIFIED ACCOUNTS MANAGER

We are seeking a professional, qualified accountant (either ACA, FCA or ACCA accredited) with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience to join our friendly team as an Accounts Manager.
This varied and interesting role will entail managing a portfolio of diverse clients including limited companies, partnership, LLP’s, sole traders and NFP’s. In addition to accounts, tax, audit and assurance services to these clients, the position would involve developing the relationships to identify wider business planning and tax planning opportunities.
The successful candidate would also oversee the work of our team of trainee accountants and their daily tasks, ensuring their wellbeing and professional development.
A full internal programme of CPD will be offered to the successful candidate, to ensure their ongoing professional progression.

TRAINEE TAX ACCOUNTANT

Hours: Full time, 9:00am-17:00pm Monday - Friday
We are seeking a trainee to join our firm and embark on an interesting and rewarding career in taxation, and study towrds ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians). This opportunity offers a motivated individual the chance to gain a professional qualification via an apprenticeship, plus wide-ranging practical experience, all within a friendly and supportive work environment.
During a typical training programme, our trainee accountants are exposed to clients in a range of sectors, and work towards obtaining practical experience and knowledge in tax and a range of accounting software packages.
To train at ATT level, we require an individual with at least 2 x A-Level passes and a minimum of 5 x GCSE passes at Grade 4 or above including English and Maths.
In addition to the above, applicants will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to further study.
Salary will be competitative for the duration of the apprenticeship.
